ANZAC Tributes

On Tuesday 24 April we honoured the ANZACs.

Moving tributes were held at both campuses this week to honour past and present Australian and New Zealand soldiers. Representatives from the College Board and retired servicemen attended, and placed commemorative wreaths at the Lone Pine trees at each campus. Our brass instrumental teacher, Matthew Tubman, played the Last Post at both events.

At the Senior Campus the ANZAC Commemorative Event was planned by the Australian History class and included an exhibition of artefacts from WWl and WWll, and soldier profiles of the local Australian heroes displayed on an acknowledgement board.

Congratulations to the students who organised the events at each campus and those who spoke so eloquently in front of the assemblies, and the Junior and Senior bands who performed the national anthem.
