New Bore Connected

Over the holiday break, Mike Gray and his team were able to connect our new bore to the tanks nearest the oval. This will enable us to have a steady flow of water to water our oval and surrounding gardens with. Mike has also set up the pipework so that the bore water can keep our 2 main tanks full. We are currently working on the quality of that water before we connect it to the tanks. Thanks Mike for your great work.

The Scotsburn students, staff and families have enjoyed a positive term. It has been so nice to see our new preps settling into school life with a smile on their faces and our Grade 6’s taking on various roles of responsibility to ensure that things are running along smoothly at the campus. Along with that, the SC1, SC2 & SC3 classes have all settled into the year nicely and certainly appear to have enjoyed their time at school. Special thanks to the wonderful community that we have for their understanding and support during what has been a challenging time late this term. Fingers crossed that everything can get back to ‘normal’ as soon as possible.

Watering

A big thanks to the many parents that assisted with the watering over the holiday break. The gardens are looking fantastic thanks to your valuable contributions. Special thanks again to Naomi Moore for coordinating the roster.

Animal Care

Thanks to Issy and her family for looking after Pip the lizard and also to Logan’s family for taking care of the chooks.

Grounds Maintenance

Simon has been busy installing some new watering systems around the toilet block and alongside the old building. This should make watering easier in the future. Whilst we are away from school, Simon will continue to keep the watering going and the general maintenance of the school. Thanks Simon!
