A teacher's reflection:

It’s not work that the kids have done but after conferencing with all of them this week the overwhelming message is that they actually miss school as well as their friends. They were so excited to see one another. From a teacher’s perspective it was lovely to be able to see them and have a chat about what’s happening in their lives. Lots of talk about Easter eggs and how many they’ve eaten!

The students in 3CW listened to the first chapter of The Magic Faraway Tree and then  imagined their own lands. They described them using their five senses and then shared their idea with the rest of the class on conferencing.
