Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to our first newsletter created for "Remote Learning".  We will continue to communicate these newsletters fortnightly providing another way we can stay connected as a community.  We encourage you to share these newsletters with your children as we plan to include a range of work samples from students learning from home.

Our staff meeting on Tuesday involved three rounds of Webex conferences as we adapt to online communications.

In this edition we have compiled a few inclusions from students, teachers and families to provide a snapshot of  home learning .  If you have any great homeschooling tips or tricks that are working for you, please email them through to Karen Dileo  king.karen.ee@edumail.vic.gov.au to share in a future edition.

In an ongoing desire to support businesses in our school community, please send through advertising information which will include in forthcoming newsletter editions.

Moving to remote learning is new to all of us.  One of the things I said to staff last term was:

"This is going to be a learning process for us all, but as we know “good learners go into the pit!”

We are all in the learning pit right now but I know that we will support one another to climb out the other side - that is why a strong community is important.

Take care of yourselves this weekend and we will see you on-line on Monday.

Megan
