Christmas Dress Up Day
Students are welcome to dress up in anything Christmas on Friday. You could come in as an elf or as Santa. You could also just wear reindeer antlers….it is up to you but remember it’s Christmas.
Whole School Assembly
The Scotsburn students will start the day at Buninyong this Friday. The students will attend the final assembly and then make our way back to Scotsburn on the bus for a 1.30pm finish.
Farewell to the Grade 6’s
As the year comes to a close, we say goodbye to our 2019 Grade 6’s. Axel, Claire and Tom have done a great job leading the school and have been wonderful role models for the younger students. We are positive that the examples they have set for our current grade 5’s will ensure the students at Scotsburn continue to be in good hands. All of the staff, students and families wish the departing Grade 6 students well as they take their next step towards Secondary school. Have fun!
2019 Positions of Responsibility
Over the past couple of weeks we have worked our way through determining the positions of responsibility for our Grade 6’s in 2020. We are excited to announce that their roles will be:
- Indi Durham & Logan Smith (Animal Care)
- Mason Johns (Specialist Support – Art)
- Ivy Kirby (Announcements)
- Jackson Lyons & Despina Socratous (Fundraising)
- Quinn Moore (Specialist Support – PE)
- Bella Reid & Koby Wenzlick (Scotsburn Media)
- Mallacai Windsor (Bus Monitor)
We know that these students will lead the campus in a very positive and respectful way and look forward to the many exciting opportunities that they will provide the students at Scotsburn.
Thanks Rick
At our assembly on Monday morning, We presented Rick Innes with a small gift as a token of our appreciation for all of the great work that he has done at our campus this year. Our playground area is significantly better thanks to all of his hard work. Thanks Rick.
Working Bee
A big thanks to those that were able to assist the students last Friday at our working bee. The campus is looking fantastic.
Well Done Maggie
Maggie has been wanting to get her hair cut short for a while! She has made the decision to make a difference by cutting and donating her hair to be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition. She really wants to donate her hair to make a wig for someone who has lost theirs so they can feel happier. If you would like to donate to this wonderful cause, you can do so by following the link https://hairwithheart.everydayhero.com/au/maggie-s-big-chop.
Well done Maggie.
