After School Care Program

Hi families,

Since our last newsletter we have made paper and tin foil sculptures, played heaps of ping pong, Octopus and Dodgeball and built many towers with our construction toys. Last week we made lots of gifts and cards for Fathers’ Day and this week we are having a craft challenge and a Lego building challenge.

Congratulations to Siobhan M for winning the nature drawing competition.

Come in and have a look at our reflection journal - the photos are accompanied by information about the learning going on during our play time.

Enrolling for After School Care with OSHClub is free. Once enrolled, children can be booked for After School Care at a moment’s notice, as sometimes happens. If you do not yet have an account, please go to oshclub.com.au to create an account for your family.

I have had many queries about fees and I have been in touch with head office and they have sent me the following information:

A $4 late booking fee will be applied for any booking made within 24 hours of a BSC/ASC session

Cancelations need to be made outside of 48 hours to avoid any absent sessions being recorded – this is for bsc/asc

Sessions cancelled within 48 hours for bsc/asc the parent will be charged their ‘gap fee’ and the child will be marked as absent

A $5 no show fee will be applied if the service or head office are not notified if a child will be absent from any session (bsc/asc/vac).

If you are having any difficulties with your new OSHClub account, please come see us, Kristen and Milly, in the OSHClub room between 2:30pm and 6pm and we will help you sort them out. You can also contact us on 0401 501 661 or at corpus@oshclub.com.au and we will get back to you.

REMINDERS: If you need to cancel ASC please do so on the internet 24 hours in advance, otherwise leave a message on 0401 501 661 on the day, or pop in to let staff know you are collecting your child so that we know where the children are. OSHClub is open 3:00-6:00pm. There is a $2/minute fee for each child that is picked up after 6pm.
