Footy Day - Friday 20th September

Last week of a busy term and what better way to finish than with our annual school footy day. Footy colours certainly add a touch of vibrancy and a touch of Melbourne to our playgrounds and classrooms. Please remember to check the forecast because some Footy days have been quite cool in the past and the thin jumpers are quite chilly. If your son/daughter is wearing an accessory, a hat or scarf, or carrying a flag, please ensure these are named because it is sometimes difficult for them to locate precious things at the end of the day.

Sun Smart Policy

Just a reminder that hats must be worn from 7th October 2019 (Term 4). All students must wear a hat during recess, lunchtime and when involved in any outside activities.

District Athletics

On Monday 2nd September, 65 Year 3 to 6 students travelled to the Knox Athletics Track to compete in the District Athletics Carnival.  There were a number of outstanding performances on the day, with Orchard Grove dominating the throwing events. After the points were tallied, Orchard Grove finished in third place overall.  A great effort.

Athletes who finished first or second in their event have qualified for the Division Carnival in October.
