2018 CBCA Book Week Theme and Dates
Theme: Find Your Treasure
CBCA Book Week: 18 - 24 August 2018
Each year across Australia, the CBCA brings children and books together celebrating CBCA Book Week. During this time schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian children's literature. Book week will be celebrated at McKinnon with author talks for the Year 7 and 8s. Planning is underway for events for other year levels. More information to come.

EX-MCKINNON STUDENT AUTHORS NEW BOOK
Beau Kondos, a former McKinnon student, has just had his first book published.
Sofija Stefanovic and Liam Pieper are also ex-students who have had novels published. Current students should be inspired by their achievements. Will you be the next “McKinnon” author?
