VICTORIAN OPERA YOUTH CHORUS ENSEMBLE

Towards the end of last year, Chloe James (Year 12) attended an audition for VOYCE which is part of Victorian Opera. VOYCE is for classically trained singers from secondary schools and tertiary students and Chloe was successful in gaining a place. She is very excited to start her weekly rehearsals.

This is a wonderful achievement, Chloe, and we wish you all the best for the coming year.

VICTORIAN STATE SCHOOL'S SPECTACULAR

Grace James (Year 10) has been successful in gaining a place in the Percussion section of the Orchestra for this year's Victorian State School Spectacular to be held in September.

She auditioned in early December last year and although successful applicants were formally notified in January, Grace performed so well in her audition, doing a piece on the xylophone and another on the drums, that she was told then and there she was in.

Congratulations Grace on this amazing achievement and we look forward to the event in September!
