Good luck to all eleven  teams and warmest thanks to coaches/managers Ms Kirralee Dawson,  Aaron Peters, Bonita Devanand, Debra Needham and Mary-Anne Lumley. Parents are invited to attend all debates. Full details are found in the John XXIII Debating handbook, but all teams are reminded that they must check the WADL website regularly as some changes to fixtures are likely to occur.

The Da Vinci Decathlon is just two weeks away and team members have now received the initial parent information and permission form.  Years 7 and 8 teams compete on Tuesday 2 April and Years 9,10 an 11 on Wednesday 3 April. Preparation sessions have been taking placed with generally very good attendances, and  special thanks  to Ms O’Loughlin and Ms Devanand (Mathematics), Mr Cotter (Science),  Mrs Davies (coding) and Ms Ball (Cartography) for their excellent work with team members specialising in these areas. Teams will travel by bus to and from Winthrop Hall at the University of Western Australia for this prestigious event.

The  Year 12 Mock Trial team had an impressive win over a strong Leeming Senior High School team on Wednesday night at the Supreme Court.  It was pleasing to see a large contingent of Year 11 future team members supporting this excellent Year 12 team.  Special thanks to Ms Farley and Ms Morgan for their great work with the team.
