School drop-off and pick-up

The beginning and end of the school day are busy times for all. Please be respectful and follow these simple rules:

  • Slow down around schools and drive safely
  • Be aware, be courteous and be responsible
  • Drop your child off and pick them up in designated pick-up areas only
  • Always take extra care in 40km school zones
  • Observe and adhere to all regulatory signage and follow all parking signs.
  • A reminder that the bays allocated for drop-off in the main carpark off John XXIII Avenue are not parking bays before 9:00am.
  • Park responsibly even if it means you have to walk further to the College.
  • Use the John XXIII College car parks only. We need to respect our neighbours, as parking, even if for five minutes, during morning or afternoon pick-up is causing inconvenience resulting in Graylands hospital staff being unable to access their parking, and or visitors having no access to parking. Should this issue continue, the hospital will be arranging for the Ranger to monitor and issue fines.
  • Never double park - it is illegal and puts children at risk
  • Model safe and considerate pedestrian and driver behaviours to your child
  • Always give way to pedestrians particularly when entering and leaving driveways.
