St Francis of Assisi Sustainability Market

The children at Galilee have been very excited to be creating sustainable products to sell at the market on Thursday 21st June. The market will run from 4pm-5pm and we will require parent helpers for each stall, as well as some parents to help make and serve hot chocolate and honey cakes (a favourite treat of St Francis!).

Each classroom will have a parent helper roster outside their classroom for you to sign up for. If you are able to help make hot chocolate or honey cakes before the market, please email Brighid Fahy at  bfahy@gsmelbournesth.catholic.edu.au

We would like to thank Woolworths South Melbourne,  South Melbourne Market and Bunnings Port Melbourne for supporting us. Woolworths have donated a gift card which will be used to buy ingredients for food and drink. South Melbourne Market have donated 100 bags of SoilFood which we will be selling. South Melbourne Market SoilFood is a fertiliser made from dehydrated Market food waste. It is rich in concentrated nutrients and makes an excellent high-nitrogen, slow release plant fertiliser. Bunnings have donated some materials for the children to use to create their products  Thank you for your generosity and support!
