Around The Primary

Dear Parents

The students from Years 4 - 6 thoroughly enjoyed the Interhouse Swimming Carnival yesterday and it was great to see so many parents and grandparents supporting this event.

Well done to all the competitors - you certainly made us proud! The smiles on their faces after completing a race was definitely a highlight of the Carnival.

Congratulations to Ward, our Champion House for 2020.

The Spirit Award was presented to Campion House for their amazing cheering and display of team spirit.

Special thanks to Mr Williams for organising our swimming carnival and to all the hard-working staff and parent volunteers. Well done to all the House Captains for showing great leadership skills.

We can now look forward to the Interschool Swimming Carnival on Thursday 19 March at Newman College.

Next Tuesday 10 March and Wednesday 11 March are Primary Photo Days. All children need to wear their correct school uniform for the photos.

The Photo schedule is attached for your information.

If parents would like a sibling photo to be taken, please take your children to the Exhibition Centre at the following times:

  • Tuesday 10 March at 8am and 3:15pm
  • Wednesday 11 March at 8am

All Primary families are welcome to come along to Open Day tomorrow, Saturday 7 March. The Open Day will showcase the facilities and programs of Secondary school and this is a great opportunity to find out more about the programs for Years 7-12.
