Father Nathan Rawlins' Ordination

On Saturday 7 September 2019 former Nazareth College student Nathan Rawlins was ordained a Priest with three other young men in St Patrick’s Cathedral.  It was a beautiful celebration and followed with Fr Rawlins celebrating his first Mass the following day at St Elizabeth’s Parish.  

Fr Rawlins visited the College and shared morning tea with the staff on Friday 13 September 2019 and will be celebrating Mass in the Chapel at Nazareth College at 8.10 am on Thursday 19 September 2019.  All students and families are most welcome to attend.  We thank Fr Rawlins for his generosity and give thanks to God for the blessing of His Priesthood and the generosity of men willing to give their lives in service.

R U OK? Day

Thursday 12 September 2019 was R U OK? Day.  It was a reminder of the importance for all of us of taking time to be present to people and ask them how they are going. The mission of R U OK? Day is to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with people around them and support anyone struggling with life. 

We are very blessed to have fantastic Pastoral and Wellbeing staff and we ask parents to encourage students to come and speak to a staff member should they be facing any challenges or just need someone to listen.  We also encourage students to look out for one another and speak to our Wellbeing staff if they are concerned at all about a friend or any student.

Summer Uniform

A reminder to students that the summer uniform is to be worn from the start of Term 4.  Please ensure you have your summer uniform ready to be worn in full on Monday 7 October 2019.

End of Term

As we come to the end of the term a reminder that Friday 20 September 2019 is our Staff Reflection Day and a Student Free Day.  The school holidays commence on Thursday 19 September 2019 at 1.00 pm. We wish all our students and their families a great holiday.  May there be some time to rest and recharge the batteries.  We look forward to seeing all students returning on Monday 7 October 2019.
