​Physical Education 

On Wednesday 13th February, 34 Year 5 & 6 students departed for a three day surf camp at Ocean Grove. During the three days students surfed for 8 hours! The instructors taught students about safety in the water and the basics of surfing. On the Friday morning we walked along the Barwon river and met some of the local wildlife.

The surfing instructors praised our students for their listening skills and general behaviour which was fantastic to hear. I would like to thank our parent helpers Henri, Jill and Dean for assisting myself Mr Blamires, Mrs Sargent and Miss Rohan to make this camp run so smoothly.

Swimming Trials

On Monday 18th February, 46 students from years 4, 5 and 6 participated in the District swimming trials. This was the first time some students had ever swam in a 50m pool and everyone put in a fantastic effort. Congratulations to the swimmers who will represent Kingswood at the District Swimming Carnival on 6th March.
