Congratulations to Toby McLauchlan for being selected as one of the six Warrnambool College School Captains for 2020. This is an amazing achievement and we wish Toby well as he helps lead our College next year.

Our final fundraiser for this year exceeded our expectations. We set a goal of collecting donations of 200kg of food from our school community and Logans is happy to report that we collected 233.1kg and still counting.

We also received $1,200 in cash donations.

Logans End of Year Activity Day

6TH DECEMBER – Please consent on Compass for this event, it is a compulsory school event.

Students will attend periods 1 and 2 as normal and the activities will start at 11:45am for a House Assembly in the Auditorium to present our fundraising to Foodshare and recognise Logans student achievements from the year. Students will then walk to the Botanic Gardens at approx 12:45pm for an afternoon of games and lunch. Lunch will be provided, hot chips, pizza and drinks.  Students will then walk back to school at approx 3:10pm to be released at 3:25pm 

Additional event details:

Any students who wish to be dismissed from the venue must produce a written note prior to leaving school at 12:45pm. 

 

Headstart 9th December

A reminder that head start begins on the 9th December.

This is compulsory for all year 8-12 students and is an important introduction to their 2020 classes.

The new tutorial groups will also be released for Headstart following the choices students have made in the past weeks.

 

Merits

The following students all received 100 merits or above this year. They will celebrate with a luncheon with Mr Clift where there will be games and prizes to won. This is a great achievement and your hard work has not gone unnoticed.
