How do I join the SRC?

All students are encouraged to apply for a position on the SRC.

Students can only hold one role in each year. However, students can apply for more than one role, and then rank each role from most to least preferred. If a student is the preferred candidate for more than one role, that student will be awarded the role ranked highest in their preferences.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our SRC read about the positions in this SRC guide, speak to current members, and review past Brunswick Star newsletter and Year Level Team post for examples of their work.

Applicants may be required to attend a panel interview.

  • Applications for 2024 Year 8 to 12 students  closed on Monday 23 October 2023.
  • Applications for 2024 Year 7 students open on Tuesday February 6 and close on Monday February 12 2024.
