Crazy Hair and Sock Day on Friday for our
'Working for Others' Fundraiser
We have been so pleased with the response to our fundraiser, with 2 days to go we have already substantially exceeded our target amount. Student leaders have been conducting fun activities during lunchtimes this week, including chalk art and handball competitions.
We will celebrate with Crazy Hair and Sock Day on Friday. Thank you for supporting your children during this initiative. All students are able to wear their sports uniform on Friday, bring a gold coin donation and are invited to bring $1 to purchase a sausage sandwich.
A big 'Well Done' to 11B for their amazing efforts and streaking ahead in the tallies.
Money raised will help support our Compassion children and local families affected by last year's bush fires. For more info see attached note-
Every Child is special, uniquely made by God
The College has been supporting children through Compassion for many years. We have traditionally had two sponsor children, one for each Primary and Secondary school. The child previously sponsored by Secondary school has grown up and completed their time with the Compassion project. Secondary have a new sponsor child, a little boy from the Philippines.
A portion of money raised from our 'Working for Others' Fundraiser will be used to continue our support of Compassion. Poverty looks different in different countries, but the goal for each child stays the same: good health, good skills, good relationships—and the opportunity to hear the Good News of Salvation through Jesus.
