Alliance Française Berthe Mouchette Language Competition 2020
Last Friday, VCE French students participated in the oral examination of the Annual Berthe Mouchette Language Competition, conducted by the Alliance Française de Melbourne.
This year in a change due to COVID, the oral exam was conducted via a Zoom conference with an examiner from the Alliance Française. Students were required to participate in general conversation and a discussion on a chosen topic, a poem or a given photo.
Prior to this recent lockdown, all VCE French students completed the written paper of the competition, which provided insight into the proposed new structure of the Year 12 French language exam. We anticipate that the results received from both the oral and written competition will provide students with valuable feedback to determine their current skill levels and areas for future improvement.
Bonne Chance à tous!
