COVID-19 and Creativity

During the first (and now second) wave of lockdown, amidst all the online calls and general work I've found a great way to spend my time inside is by doing artwork.

Obviously I have had a huge passion for this pre-COVID, but I strongly urge people who may not have previously had an interest in art to try and pick it up in this second wave. Most of what I know is completely picked up from youtube - there are so many tutorials on a range of things and within a good price range, even videos on how to make masterpieces with things you can buy for very cheap.

I bought myself a moleskine sketchbook that arrived at the start of lockdown, and I've found drawing in it every day is not only a great way to track my improvement but it's a good way to test out experimental styles.

There are also great online sketchbook tours where people show off their work, and I often watch them for inspiration.

Making an art Instagram is another great way. I keep drawing every day and to showcase my art online to family and friends, like a mini-exhibit.
