BRACE Program

Burrendah’s Gifted & Talented program is now underway catering for selected Year 5 students. The B.R.A.C.E (Burrendah’s Rigorous Academic Classroom Extension) Program offers opportunities for students to apply critical and creative thinking skills in a collaborative environment. 

Term 3 is all about project-based learning with the students researching an invention and inventor of their choice. The students will showcase their project at the end of the term, called Night of the Inventions.  They are busy creating graphic organisers, souvenirs, and thinking about their costumes for the big night. Having a growth mindset, being super organised and applying good time management skills has been difficult at times to maintain but they are all rising to the challenge and are striving to be autonomous learners.
