Life under Lockdown...

From the Liu family (Cheng is a Year 8 student):

'It was a very challenging time during the COVID-19 lockdown period; so was home learning. However, it did provide an opportunity to experience an alternative life/learning style. Given the space limit, we set up a tent in the backyard. The tent was used for about 2 hours as a substitute for an inside-the-house classroom (1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon). As parents we had the opportunity to observe Cheng's interactions with his teachers and peers, which is probably very unlikely when the normal school learning is in place.

One other harvest is that Cheng demonstrated his love and care for his younger sister, Ivy. He 'invented' a session during his PE class where he piggybacked Ivy along the footpath for extra exercise.'

The Purrfect Moment....!
