Jack and Riley's interview with Mr Railton provided some surprise answers and lots of laughs too.
Q. What is the funniest thing that has happened in a health class?
A. The awkward but also funny how to correctly put plastic on a toy banana in a year 9 health classes.
Q. What is your favourite sport and why?
A. AFL when I was younger, but I appreciate all physical endeavours particularly what makes teams great. Teams like the 90’s Chicago Bulls and Barcelona F.C.
Q. Do you think you are a celebrity teacher?
A. There are that some think I am, some that do not and some that do not care, and my aim is to be the best teacher to teach the students.
Q. Do you have any memorable moments at MESC?
A. Most likely a camp or sporting event, there was one with a staff member when they tipped the canoe at a canoe camp.
Q. What was your favourite subject when you were at high school and why?
A. Obviously P.E but I also liked biology during that time. I wish I did psychology when I was younger because that is what interests me.
Q. Would you consider being a primary school teacher?
A. I have considered it, but I think it requires another level of experience.
Q. What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
A. I do enjoy when I am absorbed in some good reading material and exercising with my children, but I wish I did more of it.
Q. Do you have a favourite class and why?
A. I really enjoy having the year 7’s teaching in science and P.E.
Q. Who is your inspiration and why?
A. Ummm my inspiration is my mother because she showed me what real strength is and to persist in a consistent loving way.
Q. If you weren’t a teacher what other career would you enjoy?
A. I would be the player development coach at Hawthorn Football Club ensuring particularly male athletes about their life outside of football.

Jack: Getting the range of different writing pieces.
Riley: Writing about different things like Persuasive, Narrative, and Instructional texts.
