THANKS FOR THE FOOTY DAY

On the last day of Term 3 we had Footy Day.  Students and teachers came to school in their favourite sport colours.  Firstly, we had a parade for students and teachers to run around in their team colours, Mr Butler played all the AFL theme songs.  Everyone had fun running around the middle and were excited. On the day there were more Geelong supporters than Sydney Swan supporters.   Also, the Yr 6s hosted AFL clinic groups for the students.  We had the longest kick on the oval and Gabe and Manuella in year 6S were the overall winners, there was lots of cheering for in the whole school for everyone who had a go.  Afterwards people enjoyed the footy day lunch order, we think the hot dog was the most popular and we give a huge thankyou to Mrs Meyer and her parent helpers.  It was great to finally celebrate Footy Day once again at St Agathas!!!!  Connor, Evan & Jacob

Carols on the Green

This year’s school carols and end of year celebration will be held on Thursday 15th December. As we want this to be a community event and an opportunity for all parents to hear their child/children sing, mingle, and catch up with teachers and other others we are looking to provide carting options that don’t require any our parents to cook a sausage.

Food vans and pre-ordering picnic hamper/ grazing platter (to collect on the night) have been two suggestions made and that don’t require parents to help on the night.  We are open to other suggestion and also like to invite any parents with contacts to food venders to contact us at  STACgroup@stacbourne.catholic.edu.au

Have a relaxing and safe term break.
