Following Christ

It has been a pleasure for me to be part of our school community. Over recent weeks I have had the pleasure of hearing confessions of our Middle and Senior School students, joining our Year 12 students in prayer and Doxology for the competition of their schooling and our Year 6-11 Students coming and participating in the Divine Liturgy. This is all part of our Faith.

Faith is not just a word, but a way we need to live. Most importantly we need to have Faith in Christ and follow Him.

Brethren, you are the body of Christ and individually members of it (1Corinthians 12:27)

Each of us in this community is a member of the body of Christ – the Church and together we can work towards the Kingdom of Heaven.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the students, parents, friends, and teachers who supported our recent sandwich-making for the Five Loaves Initiative.

With these thoughts, I greet you and invite each of you to attend the Feast Day of our Patron Saints Anargiri, Kosmas and Damianos, on November 1st. God willing we will have the blessing of our Archbishop Makarios presiding at both services. Services are as follows;

Monday, October 31 – Great Vespers – 7 pm

Tuesday, November 1 – Hierarchical Divine Liturgy – 7 am

With Love in Christ your School Chaplain and Parish Priest
