The Leader In Me

As we enter into our final term for 2022, our students are well on their way to working towards their new individual and class W.I.Gs. Each student has reflected on their previous goals for the year and put in place a new one for Term 4. Hopefully, they have shared with you their aim for this term.                                                                                

Last week, parents were emailed a ‘Habits at Home’ schedule to help students and families continue to apply The 7 Habits. This is a wonderful tool to reinforce to students that The Habits are valuable, not only at school but can be applied in every aspect of our lives. Students are welcome to come and share with me what activities they have completed at home.

Approaching the end of the year and heading into a new one, means the beginning of establishing a new Year 5 leadership team. Our Junior School Captains, George and Cecilia, were thrilled to be a part of the interviewing process with Mrs Parkes and myself. This was a valuable experience for them and their respect and maturity in the process were admirable. It was beneficial for our candidates to have the opportunity to speak with our current leaders and see one of the many roles they conduct. Whilst the current Year 4 students are very eager, the 2023 Year 5 Leadership Team will be announced later in the term.
