RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 

Next Friday 28th October at 10:00am Fr Michael will be leading us in All Saints/ All Souls day Mass here at Sacred Heart school. The Liturgical calendar marks All Saints Day on 1st November and All Souls Day 2nd November. This year’s Melbourne Cup Day public holiday falls on November 1st therefore we will celebrate all saints and martyrs, as well as remember those who have passed before us in a special All Saints/ All Souls day Mass next Friday.

Following recess (11:30am), the children and staff will have stalls and activities set up for Mission Day to raise money for the World Mission Appeal.

This year, we walk hand-in-hand with the church of Ethiopia and the local communities to move forward in providing life-changing opportunities to those most in need. The catholic church supports a range of mission development programs in Ethiopia addressing malnutrition, the lack of access to education for young children, and the vulnerable position of women in society.
