Physical Science Term 4

News from the STEAM room...

We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in the STEAM room finishing off our Matter projects.

The Year 3 and 4 egg drop experiments were really fantastic. The children enjoyed using different materials to protect an egg if it was to be dropped two meters. When they tested their creations some of the eggs were intact and some were not. The children then reflected on their designs!

So many egg jokes and so much fun!!

Some of the Year 5 and 6 students finished off their states of water artwork. I have to say I am very impressed with these artists and the beautiful spheres that were drawn.

Hopefully, some of these amazing students will let me display their work at the Lilydale Show coming up on the 19th and 20th of November.

Can you guess which pictures are water vapor, water, or ice?

Please keep an eye out for the new changes to the Tarrawarra excursion on Operoo for the 4th of November. I am hopeful that the weather will behave on that day.

Please be in touch if you have any questions.

Kindly,
