Students start another swimming lesson
Swimming
It's been a really busy week for the grade 3/4's getting all our work completed before heading off to swimming.
It's amazing to see the improvement over just 4 days in their swimming technique and stamina! \
Maths
We have been learning and investigating the properties of 2D & 3D shapes. Introducing the students to the subject-specific language learning terms such as polygon, quadrilateral, vetices, edges, faces, sphere, prism, pyramid, hedron and platonic. They have constructed shapes using paper and other resources to deepen their understanding.
A challenge we gave them was to try and find all the triangles in the below shape.
