Symmetry

This week in maths we have been learning about symmetry! We have been exploring different types of symmetry and using different ways to show lines of symmetry! We have used pictures of our selves to show symmetry in faces as well as creating butterfly artworks to show symmetry in painting. We also used pictures and drew the other half of the picture.

Writing

This week in writing we have been using pictures to create short texts. We have been using our 'Eagle Eye' to look at the pictures and make meaning from what we can see. We have been asking ourselves- What can I see? What is happening? What are the characters doing? Where are they? 

We have also been focusing on using capital letters and full stops!
