CHOIR 

As Mark has mentioned, students in Year 2 and Year 3/4 represented the School Choir at Good Start Early Learning on Tuesday afternoon. We sang, danced and made merry! We had a wonderful time sharing a special day for the centre by strengthening links with our wider community.  

The choir has been preparing several songs to share with the Sacred Heart community at the Visual Art Show on the 19th of October.

 Given the enthusiasm of all our singers in the Choir and at Sacred Heart, here is the website where children can get some inspiration to warm up their voices and sing along to some fun songs.

NATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION

The Australian Children's Music Foundation holds a national songwriting competition each year, entries have been extended to the 17th of October! 

The competition is divided into Year level categories and asks students to write an original song and record it to enter. There are prizes for the best original songs in these different categories. The link and information are below for any student who would like to take part.
