Please attach these documents to the google form for the Placement Coordinator (Sarah Quinn) to have a copy of your WWCC and COVID19 vaccination certificate prior to starting your placement. Bring a hard copy of these documents on the first day for your placement to commence.

If you feel unwell with COVID-19 symptoms, even mild ones, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive please stay home and contact the office for further advice.
Staff are expected to be in classrooms at 8:45am. Ensure that you arrive at school prior to this time, no later than 8:30am. The close of day/arrival time is negotiated with your supervising teacher.

Terms: One and Four are ‘SunSmart’! You will need a sun-smart hat (not cap). You will need a hat to wear on yard duty, or when participating in activities outside.
Parking – Please do not park in the staff car parks as there are limited spaces, daily parking near ‘The Bowling Club’ on Hummel Way. (The council local law officers are on high alert with fining people around our school so please check the signs)
YARD DUTY/MEETINGS:
You are expected to attend all whole school meetings and yard duty when your supervising teacher is on duty.
Please be on time, every time, for meetings. No food is to be brought to and/or consumed during meetings unless provided by the presenter. Drinks are fine but no food.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon we have all school staff meetings.

SIGNING IN/OUT
Pre-service teachers are required to sign in at the office each day with the QR code and compass for contact tracing.
If you need to leave the school during the day –you need to go to the office and sign out and back in

DRESS CODE
Teaching is a notable profession and as such, at DPS we would like to set an example of excellence and professionalism in how we present ourselves to the school community. Please ensure that you dress professionally at all times. The dress code can be described as Business Smart Casual. Teachers are not to wear clothing that exposes their shoulders as this is not acceptable for students. Closed shoes are required at all times for Health and Safety.
