Grade 1 & 2 Late Stay

We were very fortunate to be able to hold the Grade 1 & 2 students late stay on Thursday 2nd December. As part of the camping program students attended the day in free dress and remained at school from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.

Fitnessworx facilitated a ‘Superhero program’ on the oval involving a number of physical challenges which engaged all the children. Even the untimely arrival of a thunderstorm could not dampen their spirits. A quick transition to the hall was required where the fun continued. 

The children took it in their stride and were soon having just as much fun inside as they did outside!

Despite enjoying the activities the highlight of the late stay, according to many of the Grade 1 recounts appeared to be eating Subway in the staffroom!
