Canteen Assistant

The College is seeking a person with previous experience (desirable) in a school canteen or food service environment with relevant Food Safety skills and qualifications.

The role and responsibility of the Canteen Assistant is to assist the Canteen Manager in maintaining an efficient, safe and cost-effective Canteen with a commitment to excellence.

This is an ongoing part time role, 6 to 7 days per fortnight, approximately 5 hours per day during school term periods only (not during term breaks).

Canteen – Online Orders Now Available

With students commencing to return to onsite learning, we would like to remind you of our canteen online ordering using the Flexischools app. 

Download the Flexischools app from the App store or Google Play - click here for details on how to set up your account. Once registered, you can start placing orders immediately. If you have any questions, please visit our FAQs.

Over the counter orders may still be placed, but we encourage families to make use of the new online system, especially for lunch orders.

Secondhand Uniform Items – Free

The following items have been very kindly donated to the College and are available, at no cost, to anyone who needs them.

Roadworks on Old Melbourne Road

A reminder to families that Yarra Ranges Council is conducting roadworks / resurfacing along the north-eastern end of Old Melbourne Road for about six weeks.

There are likely to be some disruptions to traffic flow during normal construction working hours (7.30am to 4.30pm weekdays).

Gate 3 Bus Stop on Old Melbourne Road

As a result of the roadworks mentioned above, the bus stop at Gate 3 on Old Melbourne Road will move to the Stadium car park (near the Stadium main entrance door). Students who use the Martyrs’ or McKenzies’ bus services will need to ensure they allow enough time to walk to the Stadium at the end of the day. This arrangement will be in place until the roadworks are completed, anticipated in mid November.

Level Crossing Removal – Lilydale 

Lilydale Station will be reopening on Wednesday 17 November with Maroondah Hwy and John Street now reopened.

2022

We have limited vacancies for next year and would encourage you to submit your Enrolment Application Form as soon as possible, if you wish your child to be considered for a place.

2023

We are now accepting enrolments for 2023 and beyond (particularly Prep and Year 7) and look forward to hearing from you if you wish to enrol your child(ren). 

Notice to Withdraw

Parents are reminded of their obligation to give the College one full term’s notice, in writing to the Principal, if their children are not continuing at Oxley Christian College. The lack of one term’s notice will result in the payment of one term’s Tuition Fees.

It is also a legal requirement for you to inform us of the school to which your child’s enrolment is transferring.
