Jump Rope for Health

Hackham East Students will be participating in Jump Rope for Health on Tuesday 23/11 from 9:00-10:40am.  Please ensure you child is wearing suitable shoes  for skipping. 

This is not a fundraising event and therefore parents/carers will not be attending.

Christmas Raffle 

A book of 10 raffle tickets for the annual Hackham East Primary School Fundraising Christmas Raffle have been sent home with each student. Tickets are $1.00 each.  If you are unable to sell any tickets please return them to either your child’s teacher or the Front Office. 

All tickets, sold and unsold, with the money are to be returned to Tracy Rowley, Finance Officer by 3:00pm Tuesday 30/11.  The raffle will be drawn at the School Concert.

 HEPS - OSHC Vacation Care

Hackham East Primary School OSHC is open from 13/12to17/12/2021 and 3/1to 28/1/2022. All Vacation Care fees have CCS approval, (before subsidy) Inhouse $60.00, Incursion $68.00 and Excursion $75.00. Children are provided with sunscreen, hat and afternoon tea.  Additionally, please ensure that you read what is required to be sent with your child/children on each particular day.  Please also note that on excursion days the children will need to be at the service by the time stated on the program, we will unfortunately be unable to wait for anyone who has not arrived on time. Our hours of operation are 7:00am to 6:00pm, children must be collected on time.

Governing Council

Transition Yr 6 into 7 at Hallett Cove School

The transition program for Yr 6 into Yr 7 students attending Hallett Cove R-12 School in 2022 will be held on 2/12 and 3/12.  Over the two days, students will have a tour of the school and experience each of the different curriculum areas. Students will also participate in activities to build positive relationships with peers and teachers. Students need to attend both days of their transition. Learn A Language in 2022

R-6 programs offered in 16 languages for students from all school sectors: Afrikaans, Arabic, Auslan, Chinese, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Punjabi, Spanish, Thai & Vietnamese.  The School of Languages is a government school established 36 years ago.  We offer 23 languages after school hours, in 30 different locations around the metropolitan area, to over 2000 students from all schooling sectors. Our programs complement and supplement languages 

Children & Family Counselling

Strengthen your relationship, address challenging behaviours and improve family connections. Children and Family Counselling supports the mental health of infants, children and their families.  Suitable for families with infants and children up to 12 years old.  This service will provide counselling and mental health support for your children and you. Other family members can be involved if needed.

Saying Goodbye to School Banking

The CommBank School Banking program will not be returning to schools in 2022.

You can continue to make deposits into your child's Youthsaver account through online transfers or at any CommBank branch.  For more information Ph 132221 or visit your local CommBank branch.

A reminder that all types of School Card applications are available online.  The closing date is  Friday 19/11.  No applications can be received after this date so act now and apply online.
