PUBLIC SPEAKING

Melbourne Comedy Festival Class Clowns

"Humour is a way to read your audience, engage and connect.  It takes you out of your comfort zone and builds a solid confidence when speaking in front of people." -  Elaine Doyle - Debating and Public Speaking specialist.

As part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival Schools Programme, Kew High School hosted a two hour workshop on writing comedy with professional comedian Josh Earl. (Spicks & Specks)  Kent Aldemir, Zane Ghionis, Jack McGuinness, Kiran Pathy, Hamish Peele and Zachary Rockman, developed their creativity, humour and stage presence at the Kew High School Comedy Workshop, one of our many co-curricular Quest opportunities.  Students learnt how to develop an idea into a short comedy performance.  They took everyday experiences and presented them in a humorous way the audience could relate to.
