From the Principal

As well as swimming, athletics and cross country, there were more than 65 St Mary’s sporting teams this year! Thanks to the many parents and carers who have supported a team in 2021. We clearly couldn’t manage without you.

I would also like to thank Jon Brimfield who has cooked many a barbecue during the year, and those parents who have volunteered with Presentation Families to build our community.

We have had many parents and extended family members volunteer to help in classrooms or attend excursions and we are very grateful for this help.

We have had parent and carer board members, speakers, audience members, gallery viewers, sport supporters and so on and so forth. Thank you to all those people who have been involved in the life of the College this year. It is what makes us a genuine community.

I would also like to thank all the parents and carers who have supported the school with their children. Those genuine partnerships between home and school are instrumental to helping young people grow up and understand what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Thank you, families for your ongoing partnership.

A prayer for partnership

All-knowing and loving God,
Throughout human history, you have brought people of good will together around learning to further your creative plan of love and healing for the world. In your wisdom, you have brought our partnership together, so your light might be experienced by more people in a deeper way. May our partnership remain grounded in love and respect. Help us to recognise our College's diversity and how our unique gifts complement each other. We pray that through this collaboration, our College is strengthened and our children and young people know truth and love. Bless the work we do together so that an abundant harvest of your love, justice and peace will be known by all, and the glory of your Holy Name will be revealed. Amen.
