What does 16 Days of Activism
look like, feel like, sound like at OLHC?
Some of the answers to this question are:
- Squeals of laughter as children delight in playing in any play space on the playground
- Children buddy reading with our new selection of books
- Playing with children we don’t usually play with
- Enjoying quiet spaces with new games
- Planning and writing stories about ‘Respect’ for a younger audience
- Children writing their reflections on their reading
- All classes sharing their learning and thinking at assembly
- Writing letters of request to teachers
- Some girls and boys playing together when they don’t usually choose to
I wonder what feedback your child/ren have shared with you this week about this opportunity to play in a variety of play spaces with a multi age group of children.
Your insights are most welcome.
Best wishes
