Finding our faith...
Advent is a time when we can reflect on the year that has been, prepare for the beautiful Christmas time when we gather with the ones we love in readiness to celebrate the birth of the Christ child.
Our children have been doing just this as they revisit the story of the nativity. Each week a new candle has been lit to represent the four pillars of our Advent season.
The first Advent Candle is the Prophet’s candle” which symbolises Hope and reminds us that Jesus is coming
The second Advent Candle is the “Bethlehem candle” which symbolises Faith and reminds us of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem
The third Advent Candle is the “Shepherd’s candle” which symbolises Joy and reminds us of the Joy the world experienced at the coming birth of Jesus.
The fourth Advent candle is the “Angel’s Candle” which symbolises Peace and it reminds us of the message of the angels: “Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men.”
Please pray this prayer together, as a family and as you prepare for Christmas...
Loving God, over the past weeks we have gathered to pray with love, peace, joy and faith. Help each of us go beyond the season of Advent loving each other, being peaceful with our friends and family, sharing joy around us and living a faith filled life.

End of Year Reports will be emailed to families today, Friday 10th December.
They will look a lot different to what you are used to as we have moved to a new reporting system, ICON. Previous scores from earlier this year will not be shown as this is the first time we have used the ICON system.
