Dorothea MacKellar Poetry Competition

Students from Year 1 to Year 6 entered the 2021 Dorothea Poetry Competition. All of the students who entered did an amazing job.

Congratulations to Xanthia Watson (Year 4) who received a Commended Certificate in the Kurrumbede Primary section for her poem 'My Morning Starts With.....'

K-1-2 Class

On Friday as part of their Term 4 Science Unit ~ 'Being Protected by Shelters from the Environment' student in K-2 made shelters for their teddy bears from recycled materials.

They had a great time and certainly came up with some amazing shelters.

Yr 3-6 Class

This term, students in 3-6 have been completing Recount writing tasks. The students were asked to create their own Newspaper articles to report on events in the school year. Below are a few examples of the wonderful reporting the students published!
