Debating Team

Congratulations to Hunter Rigelsford, Tom Watt, Jack Rees and Georgia Baird on a fantastic Semester of Debating. 

What an exciting journey our senior debaters have had this semester! Over the last 2 terms Jack, Tom, Georgia and Hunter have taken part in the Armidale Catholic Schools Office Debating Challenge. Over this time they have learned  to prepare and present amazing debates, they can now argue a point of view and of course through this process they have improved their writing and public speaking skills. We have had many exciting topics to debate such as “Is the Olympics overrated and overly expensive”  and “that mobile phones should be banned at schools”. Our Senior Debating team has done exceptionally well and we should be very proud of their efforts.
