Acting Principal's Views

Welcome to Term 3!

I hope that you were all able to spend some time together over the break relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends.

Winter is truly upon us now so I encourage all students to dress appropriately. Winter uniform pieces are available at the office and can be purchased on QKR or directly from the office. From the start of Term 4 you will also have the option of purchasing uniforms from PSW in South Morang. At the store you will be able to access professional uniform fitting, home delivery, click and collect and Zip Pay. I’d like to thank all those parents who participated in the uniform provision survey, which has ultimately supported us to support your request to expand our uniform provision.

Term 3 is always a busy term. This Term we have our Year 3 and 4 students participating in Pit Gym, our Year 2 students will be having a sleepover at school, Year 5 and 6 students will be attending camp and multiple sporting events and excursions are on the agenda. After two years of disruption to these activities we are encouraging all students to be involved. Please remember you can access CSEF to help fund these special events.

Principal Appointment

As you would be aware Pauline Kubat retired at the end of last year. My appointment here was in an acting capacity for Terms 1, 2 and 3.

This Term the Department will commence a Principal Selection Process with the aim of appointing a Principal to commence in Term 4, 2022.

Preparing for 2023

We are now well and truly in the planning phase for 2023 and as such it is important that we have a true and accurate indication of our student numbers for next year. If you have neighbours or friends looking to enrol Prep students in 2023, please encourage them to contact us ASAP to organise enrolment forms.

If you are one of our existing families and relocating at the end of the year or leaving us for other reasons, please let us know as soon as possible.
