Governing Council

Dear Students, Staff, Parents and Carers,

What a wonderful year it has been.  As students look back, I’m sure they will recall many personal highlights such as our fabulous Sports Day, ever popular Book Week, Open Night not to mention a school camp or two.  We welcomed our new School Principal Tyson Grinham who has proved a hit with students and focused on managing school business.  Our teaching staff delivered education programs and activities to challenge, educate and help grow our students to build resilient, focused and adaptable learners.  Our school itself has been part of this evolution and most recently our Outdoor Learning area has excited all to the possibilities it holds – can’t wait for those trees to grow.

All of this has not happened by accident.  As you can appreciate, our school community is the beneficiary of ceaseless amounts of work behind the scenes to make things happen.  No matter what the initiative, activity or event it all needs forethought and planning so that students achieve the outcomes we are all looking for.  For this we thank our teaching and support staff and particularly the small army of parents and carers who assist in making ours a rewarding school environment. So, we say thank you to class parents, camp helpers, excursions attendees and participants to all other events too many to mention, as your help turns good ideas into reality.

With concerns and pressures all around, we can be pleased that our school community is the beneficiary of this shared care for one and all and as we look forward to 2015 we wish you a happy, safe and thoroughly enjoyable Christmas break and in the spirit of Lockleys North, Aim High!

Warm Regards,

Lockleys North Primary School Governing Council
