What a busy week we have had! I thought it would be good to finish off the term with an acknowledgement of the great work from staff and families, and most importantly, students over the last 6 months. There has been so many wonderful things achieved this semester, and it has been great to be part of it.

On Wednesday staff and students had the opportunity to meet Ms Laura Caddy, the incoming substantive principal. Ms Caddy was thrilled to walk around the school and say hello, and I know she is very excited to start here at Launch next term. 

Monday was a colour explosion, and a wonderfully fun day! (The evidence of which is still around the school!). Students, staff and parents had a blast, and we managed to raise a whopping $9051! When the fundraising is finalised, there will be a special announcement at an assembly, but I can say a huge congratulations to Jaxon Wheeler from 4/5H who raised the highest individual total, and to P/1M who were the class who collectively raised the highest amount of money. Well done Jaxon and P/1M, and well done to everyone who participated to the fundraising in some way. It certainly was a special day, made possible by the extra help given from parents. A big thankyou to Jess and Esme for coordinating the track, and collaborating with other parents to set up and pack up on the day. It is great to have so many people helping out, and I know that there are plans for the future that would give people the opportunity to work together again.

That's all from me. Once again, thanks for making me feel so welcome at Launching Place PS, I have loved my time here. The staff and students are incredible, and I am sad to be leaving this beautiful school.
