All students involved are doing a great job representing St Luke’s and have displayed great sportsmanship as they continue to work hard together and grow as a team.

We wish all teams the best of luck in their final games of the season and thank Mr Hegarty, Miss Brooks, Mrs Roach, Miss Watson and Miss Turner for their support in coaching our teams.

St Luke’s Athletics Trials

On Monday 6/6/22 we held our school Athletics Trials. It was great to see approximately 250 students participate in this event which saw many personal bests achieved but most importantly allowed each student to challenge themselves while having a great day cheering each other on.

Thank you to all the parents and families that attended on this day and offered support in helping this day be such a positive and rewarding experience for our students.

Please remind students to check the sports noticeboard for results. More information will be given to the students who have qualified to participate in the Zone/Diocesan Athletics Carnival early next term.

Stage 3 Girls Soccer Gala Day

This week our Stage 3 girls soccer team travelled to Jamison Park and competed in the Parramatta Diocesan Primary Soccer Gala Day which saw them compete against a range of schools from the Parramatta Diocese. The girls worked exceptionally hard as a team throughout the day and achieved exceptional results. Well done to this outstanding group of girls and thank you to all the parents who supported this team and to Miss Gatt for coaching them on the day.

NSWCPS Cross Country Championships and NSW All Schools Swimming Championships

Earlier this month we had three students (James, Gabriela, and Oliver) participate in the NSWCPS Cross Country Championships and one student (Ethan) participate in the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships. Both of these events saw students from all over the state come together to compete. Congratulations to James, Gabriela, Oliver, and Ethan for this great accomplishment.
