Middle Learning News

What's new in Years 3-5.

We are very excited to welcome Ivy to our grade 3 group. All students have done a great job welcoming Ivy into our class.

Our focus for the next two weeks:

Reading: Making connections with what we have read in the past and what are reading now, how are they similar and how are they different.

Writing: Writing procedures, what procedures do you follow each day at home? Can we write about some of these?

Numeracy: We are learning about multiplication, looking at different ways to set out and solve problems.

RE: We are looking at how we can experience God's creations and how God is part of our lives.

Inquiry: What makes a toy fun and enjoyable to play with and how could it be improved?

Grade 3-4 Camp

Camp for our grade 3-4 students will be happening in term 4, October 19th, 20th and 21st. We will be heading to Camp Nillahcootie with St Mary's Rushworth. We will be looking for one male volunteer to come along  to assist with supervision in bathrooms and with activities. If you are interested in attending, please contact Miss Flynn.

We have had great fun this week exploring different toys. We used our iPads to take photos of the different things we have made and made notes about what made it enjoyable to play with the different toys.
