Congratulations to Charley Lai, Anastasia Mamos and Marcus O’Meara-Hayes our National Careers Week challenge winners!
Students had one week to complete a series of career based activities. Once they had achieved a certain amount of points, they could submit their tasks to the Pathways team.
Below is a sample of some of the winners tasks
Write a Haiku poem about a Career of your choice.
*Remember, Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines do not need to rhyme.

3 – Meeting new people. Volunteering can help you to meet a variety of people and make new friends or social circles.
4 – Be a part of a community. Volunteering can help you feel part of something outside of just your friends and family.
5 – Learn new skills. Volunteering can help you learn new skills, gain experience and sometimes even qualifications.
