Business Owners of the Future

Mind Your Own Business students in Year 8 have been working collaboratively under the guidance of their teacher Ms Do throughout Semester 1, and on Monday Week 9 they showcased their business skills with their own market day. 

Students planned, prepared and sold everything from hot chips and lemonade, to chocolate truffles and cupcakes, to hot chocolate and lolly bags. It was a huge success, with every market stall selling out. Students learned essential business skills, including the importance of good communication, as well as raising over $500 for charity.
