Tell us a little about yourself

 My full name is Andrew Faga

and I have been here at Cecil Hills High School 

for the last 9 years now!

How long have you been teaching and what do you teach? 

I have been teaching for about 9 years and I am qualified to teach Music, Industrial Timber, Technology & VET Construction. 

Other roles at school 

I am the Head Teacher of  CAPA and I am responsible for managing the faculty.  The role requires me to support the faculty, build capacity of staff, provide practical opportunities for students and showcase it, develop engaging programs and assessments that challenge and build on student learning.

Previous schools you worked at?

Cecil Hills High School is the only school I have ever taught at.  I began here as a casual teacher and was provided many opportunities that have developed myself as a teacher.  I love the school and have therefore suck around.

Where did you attend high school?

Patrician Brothers, Fairfield. 

What do you like to do when you aren't working?

Spend time with my family.  I am married and have two little boys.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to work outdoors and play the guitar.

What's a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I love looking after my garden and lawn.  It's my Saturday routine.

Your favourite movie?

Every Rocky and Rambo movie.

How do you define success?

Success is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all the love of what you are doing or learning to do.

If given a chance, what would you like to be for a day?

Batman, I like his car and gadgets.

If Hollywood made a movie about you, who would you like to see cast as you?

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson (we have similary physiques') LOL
