Open Girls Football

Congratulations are in order for our Open Girls Football team who have qualified for the round of 16 in the state wide Puma Trophy competition.

Earlier this term the girls participated in the central venue day 1 in the Sydney South West section of the competition where they had wins against Sefton High School and Ingleburn High school winning 18-0 and 7-2. During this day a lot of our senior players were unavailable and we had some juniors step up and help the team progress to the next stage of the competition.

On the second central venue day this week with the return of the senior players the girls played Picnic Point High School. The girls had a convincing 7-0 win. This now means the girls will travel to the north coast and play Billingen High School. We wish the girls all the best for the away trip and hope they can get the win.
